Aha yes, Pokemon.

Pokemon, or Pok-ee-mans, as the adult populace likes to say. Fun games, and good cartoons. I remember back in elementary when my friends first started sneaking their gameboys to school and playing pokemon. I remember it, because I was the only one who didn’t own a pokemon game. (Cries) That is, until my friends moved on, and got tired of theirs, so I bought them for 5 bucks or something, and then -WHAM- I owned Blue and Silver. I remember blasting Queen in my room while screwing around in my pokemon games. I don’t know why Queen, but it fit at the time I guess… Looking back on it, Queen seems like a really strange choice… =/

Either way, I still kind of remember the episodes I had on VHS from the first show. I know one was the episode where they go to this like, pokemon salon thing, and there’s a Vulpix, and some really good looking chocolate thingies. Vulpix was shortly thereafter one of my favorite pokemon.

I never really got into the whole trading card game, mainly because no one knew how the fuck to play it. I mean, come on, it was the mid-nineties, the internet was nothing like it is now, and we were a bunch of retarded 4th/5th graders… That isn’t to say I never had any cards. Fuck, those were one of those things you just had to have in school (For certain cliques, anyway), like Bey-Blades, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and marbles. Fucking marbles. Ever play marbles at the school, and put one of those tiny little pebbles just in the line of the marble so that the shooter’s marble would bounce away at the last second? Yeah, we were all cheating assholes, fess up you douch-bag.

Where was I? Right, yeah, Pokemon. I dunno what else there is to say about it that everyone else doesn’t already know or feel about it. I mean, if I write here: ‘God damn, Mankey is a fucking asshole’, or ‘Drowsy, stop hypnotising all those kids in the park, you sick fuck,’ you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. So yeah.
